Unidentified House Design
This is a design of a house by William Thornton. This design shows Thornton's affinity for the temple portico motif. The drawing was not a preliminary design for Tudor Place, which also has a temple portico. Tudor Place was the Georgetown home of Thomas and Martha Peter. Martha Peter was First Lady Martha Washington's granddaughter.
